Donut Nutrition Facts?

I was cruising around JC Market’s website this week and came across this nutrition facts panel. Since we’re all pretty health conscious around here, I thought I’d share it with you. Come have a donut tomorrow and see if the nutrition info seems accurate!

Not a donut blog, but still worth a look!

HsO Sports Fans,

On March 15^th, 2008, the HsO’s own Ali Dauble, Kristina McCann-Grosvenor, and Becka Baldwin took a little swim in the bay as part of the Newport Fishermen’s Wives Survival Suit Races. An anonymous (to me) member of the community took a video of the entire event, and provided us a copy. Because the wheels of the HsO turn exceedingly slow (but grind extremely fine), I’ve only just posted the HsO team portion of the video to the Activities page on the HsO website. It must be said, though, that this video is well worth waiting for.

Donut Fans,

I was looking up the NATO phonetic alphabet on Wikipedia the other day (don't ask me why) and I got to reading about pictographic writing, where letters are represented by a picture of something beginning with that letter (i.e. a picture of a donut for the letter "D"). This inspired me to make a donut-themed pictographic phrase for this week's donut announcement. Have fun figuring it out!

Homemade Donuts? The Dream Continues...

There’s been some talk lately about someone (possibly the HsO) (Londi, we’re looking at you) bringing homemade donuts to the Wednesday Donut Festival. While this is a very good idea, there is a possibility that, due to the inexperience of the bakers, the whole experiment could end in tears. To prevent this from happening, I’ve compiled a list of appropriate vs. inappropriate donut toppings. Hopefully this will help guide the process to a successful conclusion.

Donut attempts to organize a surprise party for Ricky. Unfortunately, Donut's odd behavior and a series of mysterious phone calls lead Ricky to worry that something else might be going on. (Rerun)

 

10:30 a.m. Pimp My Donut

Starting with a stock 1984 Bear Claw, Ozzy and the crew build a 400-horsepower street racing machine that still manages to come in under 5000 calories. Features on: Choosing a frosting for best traction and The effect of sprinkles on aerodynamics.

 

11:00 a.m. The Donut Files

After a suspicious death, Cruller and Bismarck investigate the possibility that a new street drug, maple bars with bacon, could be to blame. Are these sweet treats so good they're to die for? Cheech Marin guest stars.
